I just thought that as a graphic designer I should do something about those depressing, gray journal colors. And here it is: My Winter dA

About the brushes
I make brushes because it's fun! They are also very handy (of course ) so just grab them all and feel the joy of easy designing. The main rule is:

hawksmont brushes are free for COMMERCIAL & NON-COMMERCIAL designs

About GIMP Brushes
Wonderful information for all GIMP users is that GIMP 2.4 can resize brushes and read Photoshop brushes too But I'm sure some of you still have older versions of this freeware so I still convert my .abr files into .gbr brushes
